Education building Fontys at Eindhoven

Heerkens van Bavel and Bouwbedrijf Berghege commissioned us to work on a special project in Eindhoven; the conversion of a lab building into a flexible education and research building. 

The design by EGM architects gives the originally sober, practical building a clearly recognizable and completely individual identity. The architectural interventions reveal hidden qualities that show the full potential of the building. Most striking is the new atrium in the heart of the building. 

Assembling the construction for the walkways here was a nice challenge as can be seen in the photos!
